The story begins when the father of the Arora sisters, Preeta and Srishti dies and then they decide to go in search of their mother who left them alone when they were young. They decided to go to Mumbai and started to live with their aunt. Preeta was a physiologist and the Luthra family hired her for the treatment of grandfather of that family. The youngest son, Karan of that family fell in love with Preeta in the first meeting and after that, he found different moments to talk to her. Preeta takes care of their grandfather and it takes time to complete the course of treatment.
During the Kundali Bhagya period of time, Karana and Preeta become very close friend and they both have feelings for each other but never express their feelings to each other. The aunt of Preeta fixed her marriage with her son Kabir. Srishti also fell in love with Sameer the cousin of Karan. They wanted to marry with each other.
When Karan came to know about the marriage of Preeta fixed with Kabir he decided to marry her and for that sake, he kidnapped Kabir and replaced himself with Kabir and married pretty.
